Scratch Night

We hold regular Scratch Nights as a way to test drive any new ideas we come up with, and to give our members more opportunities to get on stage. They let us experiment with new improv forms and layouts in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.

They've even acted as a springboard for new improv troupes to try out in front of a lively and enthusiastic audience, with very successful results! It's not unheard of for particularly popular ideas to develop into whole new shows!

Two of our most successful ideas last year were Spontrek, whose cast took it to the Free Fringe this year, and Blind Date which became a key component in our very own Edinburgh show 'Date Night with Bristol Improv'.

Other ideas performed recently include:

Origin Stories

Objectprov

Improvised TED Talks

Twoprov James Bond

Improvised Gossip Girl

And Drunkprov!

Keep an eye on here, and our social media platforms, for where / when you can see the next Scratch Night, and how to get involved.
