Good morning pupils, and welcome to what I'm sure will be our greatest school year. Lunch today will be meatloaf with beans and potatoes, vegetarians will be served our substitute, wheatloaf, and now for the really good news! May 3rd and May 4th we will be putting on a production of 'School'd', a wonderful improvised story all about the plights of secondary school students, like yourself, and what it means to come of age! You sure do not want to miss this one! Finally congratulations to Mrs Thompson, we wish her all the luck as she starts her new life in Florida, PSHE+ will not be the same without you!

Some of the best bristol based improv troupes come together for one night only. Prepare to be wowed by the homegrown talent! Featuring: What's Your Flavour?, The Inheritance, Up The Antics, and Bristol Improv.

Saturday 10th Feb, 1:30-5:30pm, Pegg Theatre
Workshops run by Caitlin Campbell, Bristol Improv alumni and co-founder of the Bristol Improv Theatre, and improv Kings John McInnes and Steve Hartill. Not something to miss out on.

University improv troupes from around the country gather for what promises to be a fantastic evening of unscripted fun. Expect the unexpected because one thing is certain - no one knows what they will do! Featuring: Beard of Zeus, Oxford Imps, UCL Comedy Club, and Bristol Improv.

Sunday 11th Feb, 12-2pm, Pegg Theatre 
An exciting Jam between hosts and visitors- this will be the chance to come together and hone skills and techniques with different teams from around the company. The sparks will fly in this creative, though probably hungover, session.

Bristol Improv and Bristol Revunions Present: Festive Show

After a sold out performance last year the annual Festive show returns!

Prepare for the last 11 months of farce to melt away in the face of Christmassy Comedy! Bristol Improv and Bristol Revunions are banding together to bring you a veritable verisimilitude of festive fun. With all new seasonal sketches from the wonderful Revunions and a family Christmas drama inspired by audience suggestions from Improv, this promises to be a fabulously funny start to the holiday season.

Helicon X Bristol Improv Present: A Story Slam

Come join us for a new night of storytelling at the Room Above!
Helicon (Bristol Uni’s Creative Arts magazine) and Bristol Improv have teamed up to create a night for stories to be told and listened to. Come and tell your own story, or enjoy those of others.

PLUS after every couple of stories, Bristol Improv will then perform short scenes based on the stories you have heard! Bring your favourite, funniest, strangest, winter-iest tales and hopefully it should be a lovely evening.

Date Night with Bristol Improv

Date night: the time when friends, family and lovers come together (though not all together) to spend time, catch up and share stories. Welcome to Date Night with Bristol Improv. We will improvise an entire show based on your comedies, tragedies and histories of love, life and friendships. There may be happy endings, painful departures and everything in between. Using both quick-fire short form games and longer improvised sketch, only one thing's for certain: there will definitely be drama.

Fund' Raise The Roof - a night of comedy supporting MIND

Hello! Do you like stand-up and improv comedy? Do you want to help raise money for a brilliant charity that helps those experiencing mental health problems? Well you are in luck! On the 17th February Bristol Improv are hosting Fund'Raise The Roof - a night of comedy supporting MIND - with all profits going to the MIND Bristol branch . MIND is a truly excellent charity, with a number of services like group therapy, drop-ins, counselling and crisis lines. They also have a number of other initiatives like a Trans+ helpline and a hate crime service to name a few. They’ll be plenty of laughs to be laughed with an hour of stand-up from some of Bristol’s best up and coming comedians as well as a an hour of improv from Bristol Improv!

Bristol Improv Steals the Show 2015

Returning again for three weeks at the Edinburgh Fringe, Bristol Improv are proud to present their Improv show!

In 'Bristol Improv Steals the Show' we take suggestions from the audience, be that the job they wanted as a child, the name of the show they saw that morning, or an object they have in their pocket!  

These suggestions fuel 40 minutes of fast-paced sketches and classic games followed by Bristol Improv’s brand new concept, Objectprov. In this section of the show, items from the audience inspire true monologues from our improvisers which in turn inspire longer scenes with funny and relatable characters!

Bristol Improv presents Gobblefunk! - an improvised play based on the stories of Roald Dahl. 

Roald Dahl's books have delighted and intrigued us for generations. The eccentric characters and magical universes are loved by many. But a world class, respected Roald Dahl scholar has discovered a new manuscript, that will be performed for the first (and only!) time. See new worlds, strange beasts, evil relatives and weirdly wonderful friends go on a new adventure, in the Pegg Studio Theatre.
